Holy mackeral, just got in and was shocked when I checked the score. Wasn't able to watch, but my first thought was that this is a road weary team - then saw Kyle with no minutes in the box score. Really sad to hear he injured his shoullder, hope the MRI is precautionary and it isn't anything a week or so of rest won't heal.
All I'll say is, this insane road schedule better pay big dividends at the end of this year.
A W is a W regardless if its by 20 or 1... way to gut out the win boys!

All teams have a team that gives them big trouble. Vermont is ours. They seem to play their best basketball and over their heads against us. But a win is a win. And every good season includes an escape victory or two. We need to rest some of our tired warriors. Maybe this next game will give us the chance to utilize more of the bench. The road immediately ahead looks clear. Let's take advantage of it.

Defense in the 2nd half was MUCH better, there's no debating that. We only allowed 29 points. I'll take that every half, thank you.
Armand had a rough outing--had he been on, we win in a laugher. But with him not on, I'm not sure why we didn't see more of Jermel.

Oldtimer's daughter here. Sorry for the double post. We were having trouble with our internet service. He dictates and I type. He's been a bit down lately -- getting a little depressed, and my mom just had surgery yesterday that had him worried, but she is fine. He's a tough guy though and makes the best of his circumstances.

I think I speak for the majority of this board by saying the return of Oldtimer and Mr. Doom posting is an early Christmas present for us all.

I did not see the first half so I cannot speak for our defense then but the defense in the second half was good especially in the last few minutes except for one inbound lapse. I thought they made poor shot selection in the last few minutes and that's what kept Vermont in the game.
