27 assists, 9 steals, 9 turnovers, 5 in double figures will win games.
Would have liked to see the bench get some PT. Not a mass substitution but work some minutes for guys we may need down the road.

They played great. Scott was amazing. All 5 guards played well. Glove a monster. They destroyed a lesser team. This is it guys, an 8 man rotation. Get used to it.

Great game. Nice seeing Jermel with minutes. Good balance. Everyone helped with rebounding. I thought Taj played tough but it certainly doesn't show in the stat line.
I never thought I'd say this but I miss Pelch.

Another great quote. This one by Dempsey in the article. Everyone seems to be saying it: "When you come up here you have to hope that they don’t play well and they played very well and we wound up just chasing them all night,” Dempsey said. “They are the class of this league right now. They’re certainly the best we’ve seen. They are as good as those Siena teams that had that nice run. But they have to stay sharp. They have no room for error. Right now they’re probably in the at-large discussion (for the tournament) but they don’t have much room for error. But when they’re on their game like they were tonight, they can beat anyone in this league.”

I never thought I'd say this but I miss Pelch. Pelch probably would have managed 5-10 serviceable minutes with this team. He may have slowed them down though. A big body who has played before probably wouldn't hurt though.

A couple of nice video recaps on Iona's ESPN page, including a sports center recap and O'toole's interview with Scott.

B/t/w, last night was the best student turnout in my memory. They not only filled the student side, but their overflow filled up the stands behing the chairback seats. Don't understand why they weren't allowed to sit in the chairbacks. And imo we would never have lost to Manhattan if we had the students in attendance, as they really pump up the team. An example was ALL the offensive rebounds we got early in the game when the students were really into the game. JMO.
