Looks like we have one scholarship available for next year. And the obvious need is for a big, at least even an undersized PF who can rebound. Can't expect, but can hope, for someone who has the offensive game of David Laurey, but we do need a C/PF. Iona86, or anyone, who heads up our Wish List?
We have the ones that have been reported here before but I am sure we have 3X this amount in the works. I would not be surprised if we land a European big with the skills needed to run with our offense.
Any insight on Tim Rowe? I think this kid would be a great fit for our system. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned him before but I like the length and his ability to play inside and outside. Wouldn't mind having a skilled 6'11 big with bessick at the 4 for next years team.

Tim Rowe - Is a 6'10" PF from Georgia.
He has offers from Binghamton, Samford, Kennesaw State, Florida Gulf Coast, GMU, Towson, Southern Miss, Georgia Southern. Getting looks from Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Providence and South Carolina. Rated a 70 and three stars by ESPN. Can rebound, block shots, score in the paint and can hit the jumper even out to the three.
A report from the City of Basketball Love site: "A 6-foot-10, 235-pound post, Rowe can play both the power forward and center positions. Either way, he just wants to be down around the bucket, where he can do all the dirty work. But he’s not afraid to step out and shoot the occasional 3-pointer to spread out the defense, and his handle/shot are certainly well developed for a youngster of his size."
A report from CBS Atlanta High School Sports from last February: "You know, there are only so many kids, that I can say I watched grow from a freshman to a senior in the world of High School sports. Berkmar Center and undecided college commit Tim Rowe is one of those people. When I first saw him four years ago, I had the usual thought of “a freshman on varsity, nothing new”. Back then he was tall (go figure) and skinny, but realized that he had some talent and the kid could play a bit and needed some development. Last week when I watched him play against my Alma Mater Grayson, alongside his top region ranked Berkmar Patriot commrades, I saw many new changes that surprised me!
1) The first basket of the game he took was a 3…Let me inform you that at 6’11 if you can knock down the long range ball your putting yourself in good position for the future. Yes, he only knocked 1, but the second he took was a good look that just rattled in and out. Overall his range was impressive in between the 15 and 17 foot area. He racked up 17 points and if i’m not mistaken 10 of them came in the second half.
2) Handles: like Magic Johnson. Well maybe not that close, but when you execute a jab step and rip through to get yourself in the lane and finish with the bucket, at 6’11; Who can stop you? Rebounding is big plus for him as well considering he’s not afraid to fight inside with anybody. Offensive and defensive end. Speaking of defensive. Let me mention he had 6 blocks in that game! Impressive for a high school kid! At this stage he’s learned to use his body in challenging shots and defending. Not just putting his hands up, but reading opponents to get the swat to save points from drawing on the board.
All In All: As I stated earlier he is still undecided on his college choice. There is also time for him to bring out the true player in him when the region tournament rolls around. If I had to pick a few things for him to improve on, I would say his physical toughness to not get pushed around by the smaller guys, and to add a little weight. He currently stands at 6’11 230 lbs (according to his recruiting stats) and in college, weight and strength play a big role. As I said however, there is still time."

Similar to Ryden Hines. I doubt he is going to the Northeast to play basketball either.
That music makes me want to have a couple of Brinjevec's.
Kid has a nice handle, shooting stroke, passes well and has a pretty nice cross over.
Tossed up about this kid, feel like he will be a project but has potential to be a good player.
They usually have very good fundamentals... better than most of the american players. The speed of the game here is what throws them for a loop. If they can adjust they thrive... if they don't they are worthless.
Verbal Commits @verbalcommits · 52m 52 minutes ago 2015 St. Benedict's (NJ) G/F Elijah Cain has received an offer from Iona.
Elijah Cain - 6'5" SG/Sf rated a 78 and 3 stars by ESPN. Plays AAU for N.J. Playaz. Had committed to Delaware but reopened his recruiting. Has offers from Rider, Drexel, Providence, Quinny, BU, Hofstra, Binghamton, Oklahoma. GMU, Temple, St. Joseph's and Duquesne. Getting strong looks from Memphis, Seton Hall, Rutgers LaSalle, URI, Miami and Duquesne.
Here is a scouting report from City of Basketball Love: "He is a very unique and special scoring guard. He can score in every way possible, whether its a jump shot, posting up smaller guards or taking you off the dribble. He is most effective playing in an uptempo offense. Cain has the ability to be a good defensive player he just doesn’t seem very interested in playing defense all the time. He has many moments of getting lazy and allowing his opponent to score on him. He will need to work on his defensive approach as he gets to college. Due to his amazing offensive abilities Cain will get looks from schools in the AAC, A-10 and CAA"
NERR evaluation from the Hall of Fame NIT AAU Tourny:
"A high-volume shooter who scored in bunches, Cain was most effective when driving into the paint and creating contact. His slender 6-foot-5 frame with long arms allowed him to maneuver through tight spaces and finish even when it appeared there was nowhere to go. Cain’s relentless attack also put constant pressure on the referees to blow the whistle. While his shoot-first approach isn’t always ideal for the point guard position – a role that Cain was in sporadically over the three-day tournament – it seemed to suit a squad that made it all the way to the finals."
