The Football behemoths (especially the state schools) always have the threat of expensive litigation which the NCAA can't afford. They can't even afford to go after too many schools who are cheating. They had to go easy on UConn for this reason. The SU investigation took 8 years for this reason and the fact that new violations were flowing in constantly. (But this is the second time they've been suspended from post sesason, and then there is also Bernie Fine, which they didn't get in trouble for). Yes, JB has always run a loose ship and everyone who follows them knows it. It's a total joke, but it won't matter eventually when the football schools break away and start paying their players ABOVE the table.
This stuff has been going on forever at the Cuse and everybody has always known it. Heard so many stories from people who went there. In the 80's they had an NYC "street agent" on the payroll. Sleazy stuff. Thank God they got suspended for that. And it as continued through the years. It was known that Derrick Coleman was paying Owens to stay in school but never proven.

It was directly related to a post concerning Syracuse. Have you never expanded on a point here. It is done consistently on internet boards. Maybe you should try to broaden your mind just a little bit. Incidentally, 1970 this was posted before the game started and was the only post on the Cuse. Right? look above. 7:27PM. Stop lying like a schoolchild.

OK you two, knock it off. If you don't, I'm going to make you guys play defense for Iona in a MAAC Tourney final.

Damn! I thought we had a good shot at Cain. Hope Monday's loss didn't spoil this one.
