Reports have Luke Piotrowski leaving Richmond. he is a 6'11" PF/C who is out of South Jersey. He is the son of Tom Piotrowski who starred at LaSalle from 1978-83 and was the 62nd pick in the 1983 NBA Draft, playing from 1983-85 with the Portland Trailblazers
Luke Redshirted as a freshman, played last year so if he sat out a year he would only have two years of eligibility remaining. He did not see much time last year and Richmond just brought in T.J. Cline from Niagara.
Luke can post up, rebound, block shots, drop the three.... had offers from BC, Arizona State, Saint Joseph's, Siena, Maryland, Colorado and Oregon State.
Too bad we do not have any open scholarships.

Very good article. It still doesn't address my ONLY issue. That was having 75% or more roster players as transfers. It looks like we are going to bring that number down this year.

According to Nychoops Sidki Johnson has signed with a JUCO in Illinois. I have no idea how many more years he can play. Maybe I86 can figure it out. If he gets his act together is he still a possible recruit ?

Iona recruit Mike Nzei had a big game at the Adidas Nations. He dropped 16 points and 14 boards in a 74-68 loss to the USA red team featuring:
Jahlil Okafor 6' 10" C Rated a 97 and the number 1 player in his class. Victor Craig - 6'8" PF Rated an 89 and the 31st best player in his class Kevon Looney - 6'8" PF Rated a 95 and the 9th best player in his class Jalen Johnson - 6'9" PF Rated an 84 and the 62nd best player in his class Isaac Copeland - 6'8" PF Rated an 86 and the 47th best player in his class
It has been reported that he was dominant off the boards in the tourny (actually led the tourny in total rebounds) and had some showcase dunks including one over 7' Myles Turner rated a 95 and the 10th best player in his class.
I think he went from a sleeper that we had a shot at to a guy that will be collecting lots of offers from the Big East, Big 10 and ACC schools.

Watching the Aaron Calixte video clips, his moves and game seem very similar to Momo. I'd enjoy watching him play should he decide to commit to Iona.

As we predicted, Larrier is no longer considering Iona since he has blown up. He has cut his list to Penn State, Marquette, Minnesota, UConn, Florida State, Miami, St. John’s, VCU, Florida and Seton Hall.

We'll have another shot at getting Larrier in a year or two when he decides to transfer.

It is being reported that former Iona recruit Thaddeus Hall, as expected, will not be eligible to play at Southern Miss. He is reported to me looking at going JUCO to either Wabash (with Sidiki Johnson) or Mike Haynes school, Indian Hills. Now we are waiting to see if former Iona recruit Leroy "Truck" Fludd is deemed eligible at Southern Miss.
