I'd like a 50 seat section reserved for Westchester/Bronx kids & parents groups for each game. Free tix for the kids and give them an Iona scarf (everyone does t-shirts). Go with the t-shirts if the scarfs cost too much, or simply jack up the price for the scarfs a bit and make goal club members buy one  . "Gael Gamers" club. |

President's reception in Sarasota today. He provided a rollout of a major campaign as described previously in other posts. A fundamental component of the campaign will be to raise the endowment which has increased by 70+% in the past 3 years.
They have embarked on a feasibility study to "size" the arena. Main discussions are about capacity 3200-4000. Building would be expanded on the south side, "closer to the street." Building would be higher than current structure. Court would be turned to East-West. Amenities (food, bathrooms, etc) would be added, including a reception area. No timeline mentioned. Fundraising to pay for the renovation.
Not much detail, but this president is committed to it.

This would be huge. Any idea how long something like this would take once construction started? Would we have to play somewhere else for a year? Whatever the price, this would be worth it. Count me in.

hopefully its 4000 cap, 3200 only adds 600 seats. probably 4000 draws us a little higher game.
