BTW we own Delaware. I think we even beat them during the 2-28 nightmare season.

70...we have no shot at getting an at-large. Look at the resumes of the first 8 out teams on Lunardi's bracketology. We don't come close to any of them: Minnesota (45 RPI, 6 wins vs top 100) Richmond (47 RPI, 7 wins vs top 100) Dayton (55 RPI, 7 wins vs top 100, beat us head to head) Florida State (59 RPI, 5 wins vs top 100) Oregon (42 RPI, 8 wins vs top 100) Georgetown (64 RPI, 7 wins vs top 100) Nebraska (48 RPI, 6 wins vs top 100) So Miss (36 RPI, 4 wins vs top 100) Iona if we win out and lose in MAAC finals: 42 RPI, 5 wins vs top 100, 0 quality OOC wins) You're probably right in the end on this, but they would also have to consider our recent 15 game win streak, including at least 8 on the road i believe. Also we would have 10 road wins which is pretty close to the tops in the NCAA, 9-1 in the last 10 games, something like 15-1 in the last 16. Also Top 3 in the nation in scoring. I think we would at least have to be in the discussion with our resume, probably just miss out though.

Even if it's not the same people, we should expect no favors from the committee after our last at-large bid performance. [/quote] Super...I rather remember it as the game we shocked the basketball world in the first half with our style of play...They are wise enough to realize that this is almost a completely different team.... I repeat.....If we win our remaining games, but get knocked of in the final MAAC tourney game, we will receive a NCAA bid...We would have won 15 in a row, and 15 out of our last 16...I have given it much thought but can't remember a team left out with that type credentials....

Yes. If we win out and lose in the final, our RPI should be in the 40s, possibly the 50s. Our poor OOC record will be tough to overcome. Also, remember that the committee took heat for putting us in 2 years ago, and we didn't make them look good by losing. If it's mostly the same people (I have no idea), they could be gun-shy regarding us. Even if it's not the same people, we should expect no favors from the committee after our last at-large bid performance. Good points, I was thinking along those lines also.

Put me in the camp with those who say that there is no way that we get an at-large bid. But playing the devil's advocate, it's been said that the Selection Committee does take injuries into consideration. So we could say that the games we played w/o IW should not be held against us. Now if we win the MAAC and have a history of three straight NCAA appearances then maybe next year we'll get some at large consideration.
