Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes, very much appreciated. It's actually 1 of my daughters not my son going through this. My son has been doing martial arts since he was 4 years old, he suffered his fair share of fractures, cuts, bruises and sprains (he's a tough young man now) but the kid is deathly afraid of needles. My daughter on the other hand is tougher than the rest of my family combined. This is hopefully her third, longest, most difficult, and last proceedure for this condition (Fibular Hemimelia; 1 leg longer than the other) and then 7-8 months of physical rehab. While my wife and I are on pins and needles, I asked my daughter yesterday how she was doing; her response: "I"m excited, I want to get this over with, get back to PT, and being able to do what every normal kid does." I got to admitt the rehabs in the past were pretty intensive and yet she loves that part for whatever reason. Again thanks for your prayers and wishes; and GO GAELS!!

Planning on going to the Lady Gael's game Friday and staying up there until both our teams win a crown or are ousted. I've decided to go up Thursday and take in the men's PIGs also. Hope I have two reasons to stay through Monday!
