AD needed to complete an NIT survey which included a question about spring break schedule, I wouldn't read too much into that. Likely SOP for all teams locked up and on the NIT bubble. I would also love to be wrong on this, but I highly doubt it. Definitely SOP--fact that it's spring break will likely negate the slim chance we had.

Does a #5 seed in the NIT, mean that out of the 32 NIT teams, we would be in the 17-20 range?

Let's keep our fingers crossed for Iona vs St John's.......could be a 2nd round or even a 1st if Iona slips to a "7" or St. John's slips to a "3" and Iona sticks as a "6". I think St. John's would not like facing Iona at any time.

This bracket has us facing Minnesota in the finals. Wouldn't that be cool?

If this NIT field were a super conference that started now as a 1 time round robin......do you think Iona could play over .500 ball?

Researching all those RPI's would help paint a clearer picture, but I have no time to do that, so I'll just see the glass as half full and say, yes I believe we could reach .500

If St. John's loses to Providence, or visa versa, then I could see them joining Georgetown in the NIT, and possibly hosting Iona in the first round. I found out, yesterday, that Spring Break, for Iona, begins, next week. Just another reason that we won't get a four seed. Of course it's possible that SJU and G-Town are also on SB, so that might not be a factor.
