Iona05, pretty sure we'll get a four or five. And we might get a clue with Manhattan's seeding. If the Jaspers get a thirteen, we have a shot at a four and if they are seeded fourteen, then we'll be a five. I'm guessing 4/13.
With St. Joe's winning the A10, I think this knocks Dayton out of the NCAA's and into the NIT. They are #4 seed, playing #5 seed, Iona. But since their arena is being used for the NCAA tourney Play In games, they have to play the game in New Ro. Talk about redemption. (Smiley Face)
Think Georgia State was an auto qualifier for NIT since they won their reg season conf championship but lost in the tourney. This means they took an NIT berth away from an at large team that would've likely been seeded above us, while Georgia State will slide into the NIT somewhere in the 7-8 range.

If the nit committee thinks the same as the NCAA committee you will see st. Chicken vs Iona. They have Dayton vs. Ohio state and potential Villanova vs st. Joes in round of 32, and a few other possibilities like Louisville vs Kentucky.
