So is it now safe to say this is the final roster ? No.. give it a couple of weeks before we deem the roster "final". The only way the roster isn't final is if Svandrlik doesn't show or Bebis isn't cleared. BTW, I think the unidentified player in the pic with Guerin may be Malique McLaren. He played point for Winchendon School. If so, he would be a verrry nice walk-on add. But I'm just guessing because his face looks so similar.

E, I would say that's a pretty educated guess. If you google Malique McLaren you'll see he has Iona associated with his name.

Malique McLaren is enrolled at Iona. He was the Co-POY in the NEPSAC class C league. He shared that honor with Riders Kenny Grant. His school (Winchendon) moved from Class AAA to C his junior year.
Here is a report on him from his sophomore year at Boston College High School, written by Beantownhoops.com:
"Malique can really play. He is all over the court on offense and defense and you can see that he loves the game. He can knock down shots from the perimeter and is fearless going to the basket. The only thing holding him back right now is his size. He will need to get stronger to cope with the more physical play and if he can grow to at least 5’9” he will be ready to play at the next level. He is an all-around good point guard in the 2013 class."
A report from NERR during his Junior year while playing in the BABC’s Veteran’s Day Classic:
" He may not have been the team’s leading scorer but he was among the most efficient and versatile players on the court. He handled in the open floor, made a variety of college level passes, and played the pick and roll effectively. "

I wish Bebis the best and hope that he gets plenty of time but he will have to earn it on that team. If he plays hard, learns the system and produces he will see time.... nothing is guaranteed. QUOTE While watching film clip of Bebis............It is hard to loose weight in one part of the body, but if he can manage to lose 5-10 lbs. off his backside, we might have a sleeper...I hope Cluess with his keen eye saw the potential of just that happening. My DAD ended every order the command ''Get your ass moving''

Yes, I am going to ask this once a week. Is the roster final yet? I noticed one of the Euro kids is not on campus yet, while everyone else seems to be there. Yes Super, he can be 6'7''....

]Yes, I am going to ask this once a week. Is the roster final yet? [/quote] Sharkey........You are probably asking a question which at this time is unanswerable, but even if it was, taking into consideration past performances it will not be revealed until staff thinks the time is right... As of this moment there appears room for maneuver ability. IMO there is still a 33% chance of no change, a 33% chance of a serviceable 6-7 6-8 forward, and a 33% chance of a surprise better then average front court man.... After 4 years of Cluess patience and confidence should be the guide...

If we enter the season as we now stand, I see the roles played by Hines and Robinson to be pivotal...IMO we will need at least 15 minutes playing time per game each...I know not what the injury to Robinson is or how serious it might be, but his return with some degree of service ability plus the return of Hines with normal improvement expected will greatly raise our outlook...It will alleviate our roster maneuver ability, and enable us to meet some of the height problems that are sure to arise....... I feel sure Cluess is aware of this need and we will surely see more of the duo particularly with matchup demands...

@jonrothstein Under-the-radar MAAC freshman --- Iona's Schadrac Casimir. 5-9 PG is going to be a factor for Gaels. Should flourish in high octane style.
