ctbill, more Dartmouth info. They had a BB coach named 'Doggie' Julien, who moved from Dartmouth to Holy Cross and coached Bob Cousey, there. I believe they (HC) won either the NCAA or NIT tournament with Julien as coach. And back in the thirties, early forties, they had a pretty good football coach, named Earl 'Red' Blaik, who moved onto West Point and coached the Blanchard/Davis teams.

Holy smokes I can watch him play like 10 minutes from me. My son goes to the coach's camp there every summer. My neighbor's brother is the coach, Mitch Oliver.

To pass time I frequently visit other teams around the nations Roster page...All so far carry 13 or more with walk-on as much as 16...Our roster carries 11 with one a waiting on injury and another unknown...
Do we actually intend to start with this deficit or is there still time and hope....Any further injury especially to a key player could lead to a lost season...
I don't think Cluess enjoys this position, and is well aware of its dangers, but IMO to smart a coach to allow it to happen...
Any information or thoughts as to this situation would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

I'm pretty sure we have a decent walk-on at guard and we may have another small forward walking on. It appears we will have enough practice players. Going 10 deep with healthy scholarship players is nothing to sneeze at, especially since they are all pretty solid players.

Some observations:
- Amayo: good news is he is fully healthy. Bad news is he is rusty as can be from having been inactive for several years, and we should curb our expectations accordingly, at least for the first part of the season.
- Williams: playing out of his mind. Could be our best player this year when all is said and done.
- AJ: on the nba draft board. What more do we need to say.
- DL3: seems like he's developed into a true leader. Work ethic and conditioning are better than ever before. Could be POY candidate by end of season.
- Starting five: believe it will be Casimir, AJ, Isaiah, Dublin, DL3 with Amayo, Hines, Robinson and Ellis off the bench.

Casimir was a kid who had not one division 1 offer and now he might start! What a find! Amazing!

Based on what I saw from Amayo at last years Meet the Gaels he could be a tremendous 6th man. Plays with great energy, the type of player you love have coming off the bench.

Just read an article off of Guy's twitter feed from nyc buckets that said Amayo was a JR. Is that wrong? thought Amayo was a sophomore this season
