Could be wrong, but this sounds like a legal/H.R. thing - Providence afraid to say anything bad about the student, because if he's found not guilty and you have deprived him of an opportunity you could be looking at a lawsuit. As far as Oregon is concerned, if you decide to recruit a player that has been suspended, to me, you do so at your own risk.

I believe its due to a childhood affliction, perhaps vitamin deficiency, which is why I don't make fun of it. Now the whole I ain't worried about no Iona, dawg thing is hilarious and deserves to be ridiculed, imo.
