I would think that Tommy Amaker would be a leading candidate for the BC job, if he wants it.

I would think that Tommy Amaker would be a leading candidate for the BC job, if he wants it. I was thinking the same thing. I believe he has his choice of jobs. Well earned too.

I would think that Tommy Amaker would be a leading candidate for the BC job, if he wants it. And Tiger, what makes you think that the Big East will thrive? If they "steal" a few more teams from the A10, they should stay ahead of them, but right now it's pretty close between those two conferences. No where near as good as the ACC. As of today, thrive and Big East don't belong in the same sentence.

St.John's s and Lavin should be ashamed at the sham they and the New York press perpetrated on its basketball fans...From the totally weak schedule prior to entering the weakened B.E conference portion they, aided a long with the collusion of sport writers bally-hooed the NYC fans into believing they were far better then they actually were... The hoax never ended even with dismal season ending losses... Convinced they could continue to hood-wink the average New York City fan, they had the gall to give them a No.1 NIT seed, where the sham was quickly exposed... St.John's can not live on its past glory's, but must build with honesty and hard work and not depend upon its has-been regime, and its long forgotten past......

I would think that Tommy Amaker would be a leading candidate for the BC job, if he wants it. Why in the world would he leave Harvard for BC?

So three things have to happen for Tim to take the SJ's job. 1) They have to fire Lavin- hasn't happened yet; 2) they have to decide Tim is their guy and offer the position to him - doubt Tim will be the only candidate; and 3) Tim has to accept the offer - we're assuming it would be more money, its a higher rated conference, and its on Long Island, so we all assume Tim would take it. But we don't know for a fact.
So if #1 happens and we get to #2, who will Tim have to beat out for the job? Got to think Massiello (think he's a better fit for SJ's than BC); Dan Hurley; Bobby Hurley? Who else? I love Cluess and I think we all hope he stays, but this stuff is out of our control. We deal with it every year, and we usually turn out fine whether our coach goes or stays. Having to deal with this stuff is a sign that we've got a good coach.

I highly doubt Tim would take the St Johns jobe...despite the fact he played there and his brothers also, i know for a fact that they were not the best years for him playing under Louie.

Tiger, isn't there a Big East board, where this BS would be more appreciated? I said earlier, please don't use thrive and Big East in the same sentence. Well you can add ACC to the BE Do Not Use list. But seriously this has no place on an Iona board.
