How about Villanova.....TC knows Jay Wright very well from his days at Hofstra?

Anyone have updates on OOC games? Curious if anything has been confirmed beyond the 5 or 6 that we already know about. Probably some discussion @ Final Four this weekend. Good point. All the key players are present, lots of deals forged.

I hear that we are having trouble with Indiana State. Can't agree on a date, but still working on it.

Fordham vs Manhattan at The Barc per the Fordham board.
Will this be the year we get a game there or MSG?

We've been trying to get into the Barclay's for a long time. I used to work for a boss who had the following pinned to his wall:
"I don't care about the storms you encountered, I just want to know if you brought in the ship."

I sent an email to a Barc Programing executive this P.M. about our 4 year history of accomplishments under TC. Would love to get into the Barc which has rapidly become NYC's premier college basketball venue for now.

Resuming my wheelchair ride around campus with my aid...I was pleasantly surprised with her basketball knowledge...Back in her country (Ghana) it is called Net ball and is very popular with school girls...She can't wait for Gail season to start...Her youngest son just was excepted with a partial scholarship....
Back to basketball......Scattered info.....Some of teams mentioned for possible opponents the next couple of years...
UMASS ST. BONNY BUFFALO ST. JOES. DREXEL STONEY BROOK PENN STATE BUCKNELL TOWSON LASALLE ARMY VILLANOVA
I took it all as scuttlebutt, but in studying the list, it struck me as possible trying to establishing relationships preparing for a new or larger arena.......It is also possible I have to much idle time on my hands....

Don't get the Barc. Something fishy going on. One could argue we've been the best team in the area since 2010 or at least one of the best. Probably the most entertaining to watch. Could be that teams are paying to get games there and we probably won't if we're trying to reconfigure Hynes. Hard to believe the Barc hasn't reached out to us. Who schedules games there, a St John's guy?

Agree Bill. Our uptempo offense and our past 4 years of success would be an attraction to local local bball fans in general. Any non-affiliated fans into a run and gun style in Brooklyn? You'd think that at least they'd pit us with someone of a similar style and hope for another Louisiana Tech type game. That would be worth rolling the dice on vs some of the games they've had and plan to have there. Something isn't right.
What's interesting is that Manhattan is getting another game there this year. Maybe it 's another sleazy Pitino scheme to keep us out :>)

I believe that Iona having its degree ceremonies at MSG maybe a reason Barclay's doesn't extend an invitation, IMO, the Barclay center isn't in the same category as MSG anyway so no big deal to me if we never play there! I would like to get back to the Garden though.

The Barc is the hot bed of college and high school hoops in NYC right now...that can change again...MSG has the tradition but the Barc had the better games this year.

The Barc is also a much nicer facility than the Garden. Better place to see a game.
