70 believe the following are confirmed:
@ George Mason (12/20) @ Wofford (opening game on ESPN marathon at 7 AM, date TBD)
vs Indiana State (12/13) vs FGCU vs Cleveland State
Also believe that we are on the road against either Liberty or Norfolk State (can't remember which one).
This should leave 3 games still to be confirmed. I know we've had discussions with a few majors, but nothing locked up yet.
Would imagine we will fill the remaining 3 games with one road game against a major, one game against a local mid, and one home and home against a solid CAA/A10 type team. Just my guess.

Not confirmed, but good chance we will be playing in a mini tournament that would include road games at Arkansas, Wake and ETSU, and a home game versus North Texas.

Trying to keep up with latest movement on scheduling:
@ Wofford (11/11 confirmed, 7 AM for ESPN Tip-Off Marathon) @ George Mason (12/20 confirmed) @ Arkansas (not confirmed) @ Wake Forest (not confirmed) @ East Tennessee (not confirmed)
vs Indiana State (12/13 confirmed) vs FGCU (date TBD, confirmed) vs Cleveland State (date TBD, confirmed) vs North Texas (not confirmed)
If everything above gets confirmed this would bring us to 29 total games (20 in conference and 9 OOC, the same total as last year). Seems like it's shaping up to be a competitive, yet winnable OOC schedule. All good stuff.

Thanks fellows...That is a very respectful schedule for a mid-major especially for a school who at this point does not have the facilities to match its ambitions...It would match or exceed any others particularly in the metro area...
It shows effort, imagination and hard work, and my wish is that I am still around to see and enjoy the days that we will be attracting many more of those type teams to the new Iona facility...
I am blessed to have lived near a school that has brought pride, thrills and many, many enjoyable basketball events to store away memories and add to the anticipation rooting and enjoyment it has added along the way....

Add at UMASS on 12/30. It's just a one off game. Not a series.

These are the power ratings at season end of our OOC opponents...At first glance there appeared to me a pretty tough OOC schedule, but if anything I find the path might be not as tough as first thought...Provided that we have prepared a team that is at least as good as last year, a 6-4 season is a distinct possibility...But for the fact that 6 games are away, there would be some hope for a better mark...
Surprising we have 3rd highest power rating of the other ten OOC teams.....UMASS 76.4 Arkansas 75.0 Iona 66.8......... Followed by: Cleveland State 64.7 Wake Forest 61.0 Indiana State 60.2 George Mason 56.1 Woodford 49.0 Florida G.C. 47.1 North Texas 40.5 and East Tenn. State 40.1...
There are other Power Rating Services, but I have found this one the most conservative and reliable.......Our combined board posters I have been found to be pretty accurate over past 4 years as opposed to other unrealistic and overly optimistic sites.......

I would love to see Iona play a game AT Stony Brook in the next two years to have an added excuse to see their new arena!
