OT, for the past three days we were sure you were alive, but the board was dead. Now get back to work.

A belated thanks to all........12 of us had dinner at the new MODERN ITALIAN RESTAURANT on Huguenot St in New Rochelle...I was shocked by the experience...This is no normal red and white table cloth Italian eatery....It is a gigantic venture modeled into a vacant new car showroom....A once golfing buddy of mine is the owner. He came over and sat for quite some time as we talked about his restaurant and old days golfing tales... By my estimate there were close to 300 customers...My friend told me he has 8 chefs on duty, and perhaps a staff of 50 others...He has increased the valet parking upwards to 3 nearby spots which cost in rentals to 5,000 bucks a month...
The food is excellent, the service dispite the crowd was good, the prices just above moderate...The gratis platter of Italian Zeppola sent over after dinner rivaled that my Grandmother made 80 years ago....I have no intent to advertise the place, the enormous crowds signify the review....
