yea not sure the methodology but looks like they factored in the game day experience and not just arena size. Guess they give bonus points to arenas that have half empty season ticket side seats and nobody who cheers. :-)

The RAC belongs in the top 20 not bottom. Say what you will about the school and the team, the arena is great and their fans are unbelievably loyal.

Couple scheduling notes from around the MAAC: Reported by Rothstein today that Rutgers and Monmouth are playing a home and home the next two years, starting this year at Monmouth. Also heard, but not confirmed, that Oregon State was going to play at Quinny.
We'd better get going on our new facility.

Wow...those are impressive gets for MAAC teams. Agreed. We have had some decent teams come to our building the past few years, but I think you're right. We probably cap out at A10 level teams coming to Hynes unless we upgrade our facility.

I didn't know that the Draddy Gym was a better basketball venue than Pauley Pavillion. Ridiculous! Also, On the Rutgers board they were debating a downtown basketball venue. Some were saying that the after game experience would be better than running through the parking lot on a winter night, trying to avoid frostbite. That's where the survey makers were coming from on that one.
