I would like to sponsor a seat behind the basket. Visible for TV cameras.

Would love to come up with some sort of sponsorship for IonaHoops.com over the season. Need to think about it. Has to be within reason, and be something of true value.

Plan is to renovate HAC in 3 phases. First phase already covered by commitments. Next two dependent on ability to raise additional $$. Super, is there anything out there that describes what the 3 phases are? Looks like the Iona/Stony Brook rendering has been removed.

Super, is there anything out there that describes what the 3 phases are? Looks like the Iona/Stony Brook rendering has been removed. Nothing public about phasing-I'll keep digging. Stony Brook rendering still in brochure even though that "error" was pointed out 18 months ago. Typo in press release is another example of some sloppiness. "The Iona Forever campaign is a key component of the College’s comprehensive five-year strategic plan developed in 2012. "The Iona Forever campaign is transformational for the College. The campaign will tear down barriers to affordability with student scholarships, endow great faculty and programs, in enhance key learning environments," said President Nyre."

I hope in raising this kind of money that the end result will be a facility that compares to Monmouth / Quinny / Hofstra / Stony Brook. Something that will be first rate for decades. I just don't know if they can squeeze it into the current location of Hynes ? Engineers and Architects, do your magic!

They may need some additional "magic" from the New Rochelle Zoning Board.

So, I was doing some research on Jacksonville St - since former committ Cam Biedschied is suiting up for them this year. I wanted to see if he was actually on the roster after all the transfer drama surrounding him. Regardless, take a look at their upgraded facility. It's beautiful and seems like something we could shoot for, as far as design is concerned. www.jsugamecocksports.com/galleries/?gallery=294

We rate 319th capacity out of 350 Div. 1 field houses......The MAAC has a sorry 4 with less then us...Manhattan, Niagara, Canisius and Rider...Old schools in dire need of uplifting...The MAAC has 5 of its basketball buildings in the bottom 300's..... A quick look revealed that we are probably the highest RPI with the lowest capacity court...And we wonder why home schedule problems....

If the Beechmont Association even thought that we were thinking 4K+, all hell would break loose.

5,500 is NOT in our range. GUY GUY Just curious.....What according to you is our range? I did not know plans have been made and revealed as your emphases on the word ''NOT'' would lead one to believe...If we have ambitions to continue our rise in college basketball is what I based my estimated range, and anything much less would be negligent short sighting...

Not negligent nor short-sighted, but realistic, given the limited space available, local zoning regulations, and attendance history.

What Super said.
Would be shocked if the upgrade results in 4000 seats. 3600 seems about right.

I'd settle for 3000 with seats behind the basket.
