Agreed. As it turned out Lawrence was always a lock to transfer to Manhattan because of his relationship with the coaching staff. they had a very good recruiting class its as simple as that. if the roster stays the same that would leave 3 scholarships for the '15 class plus Bessick being eligible. those are 3 vital ships for the staff to fill to keep pace as Manahttan and QPAC are involved with some very good recruits sharkey nailed it... with all other things being fairly equal, it all boils down to relationships.

Sometime you win, sometimes you loose...Quote 05. An old expression, but one that still makes much sense and sums up our recruiting year so far... If we had won all the ''Go get him Cluess'', and ''Just right for our system'' post the past few months, we would have a team roster of at least 50 players... IMO the biggest reason for Manhattan's excellent recruiting year is the fact that they are a 'winner starved' New York City team and have the big city perks and press that go with it...If we were to exchange team location and press the past 4 years with our success we would have been heralded throughout the metro area and beyond........... That is the situation we have to deal with, and we have given it a strong battle for most of Iona's over 70 year basketball existence...''Stand Proud''
