Hearing a lot of great things about him from people that have been watching him throughout high school career. Can't wait to see this kid on the court

A freshman PG.
Even the best can have their struggles.
I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

Agree, CJB, but that tends to be more of an issue when the player is forced into excessive duty. Casimir will not suffer that fate unless all the other newcomers stink and Hines and Robinson and Ellis have not improved.

Well the tone from a good many on this board has Casimir already anointed as starting PG - that could be excessive.
Of the newcomers you reference, only Ibn Muhammad is a PG, so I sense you figure he'll be asked to shoulder a good share of PG duty?
Is AJ a 1 or a 2 this year?

CJB, AJ will be the pg with Casimir being brought along as the season progresses ( not as a starter). I see Amayo, IW, Laury, & Dublin joining AJ.
You will love Casimir.

Super, agree with your starters, with the only question being the health of Kelvin. And I've seen Schadrac play in a couple of pickup games, which I understand are not 'real' games, but I see no reason why his skills won't translate to 'real' BB. And yes, Iona fans will love him.

Will finish as a 2000 point scorer and possibly Iona's all-time leading scorer

He will take a lot of the pressure off of Iona's other scorers. I like the way he handles big moments. Amayo needs to play under control a bit. Looks like he could have gone down for an extended amount of the season a few times. He does have a knack for getting to the line, which is great......poor man's Dwayne Wade. Casimir will be compared to Keydren Clark from St. Petes if he keeps this up.

Casmirs first game was the best first game from a freshman since Steve Burtt jr.

Casmirs first game was the best first game from a freshman since Steve Burtt jr. He seemed like a nice, humble kid in the post game interview.
