Playing anybody at MSG will help recruiting. This will hopefully give Niagara a recruiting bump as well.... we need the bottom 1/3 of the MAAC to get stronger. As much as I would love to have seen Iona play a BCS opponent, I will take a game at MSG against a CYO team if it is offered,

I think we're making some assumptions about our lack of opportunity to play at the Garden. Other than St John's what local team gets to play there? Fordham does very year, but only because they play SJ's in the new era Holiday Festival. Good point. Unfortunately, MSG the self-proclaimed: "Mecca of Basketball" no longer resides in the hottest region of college hoops, which is more of a referendum on the change that's taken place in the sport the last couple of decades. Considering the record, the coaches and the players who've emerged the last 5 years, I still think this program gets short-changed in its own back yard. Agree we get better national coverage than we do local and I think that's a referendum on our market as much as it is on us as a program.

Aren't you getting married today???
GUY Yup. The deed is done
TAU... TAU.....Many years ago after a church wedding, gathering of family friends and dinner my wife and I left for our honeymoon...We had not gone a block or two when I stopped at stationary store to get a paper to read about a big game Guerin and Iona had if memory serves at the Garden the night before... It has been about 60 years ago.....To this day when she gets angry with me she will remind me what she considered a thoughtless act..... I hope you have better luck with your computer posting, but the same luck as I had with marriage....
