Manhattan received only 1 vote from the coaches...During summer months they were the rave and MAAC favorite.....They have taken a drop in recent polls...There was even one that even projected them as 5th...I don't remember this type drastic polling change just before seasons start..... Any body have any thoughts....

I'm really not surprised The coaches know that if you have the three best players on one team they're going to be hard to beat. I still think Manhattan will be pretty good as well as St.Peters ,Quinny and probably Siena.

OT, spot on about MTS and the delusional Siena fan base. MTS predicts Siena to finish the regular season 20-9 and win the MAAC at 15-5. that means they would go 5-4 against their cupcake OOC. Sorry but a MAAC team that only goes 5-4 against their OOC has zero chance of winning 15 MAAC games and especially winning the league.

Didn't McLean at Quinny just transfer from there? They are so pumped up about the 14-15 season at Quinny that with a little over 2 weeks to opening night they haven't posted their current roster yet. Ridiculous that the MAAC would allow this!

Looks like St Chicken might have an issue. www.lohud.com/story/news/local/westchester/2014/10/27/wcc-widens-athlete-transcript-probe-fraud-charge/18033809/ "The WCC program has had some success in recent years placing players in Division I schools, including Keith Thomas, who plays for St. John's and Jarrid Famous, an NJCAA Division I All-American first team selection in the 2008-09 season, who went on to play at the University of South Florida.
St. John's athletics officials would not say whether they reviewed Thomas' transcript, but said he remains on the roster. Thomas, originally from Mount Vernon, was a star player for Yorktown High School his junior year but was dismissed from the team his senior year after a felony assault charge."
Really funny comments from WCC admin about Walker never playing for the team despite YouTube videos. Cimino also went to see him play.

Where there's smoke...http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/college/st-john-jc-transfer-transcript-concerns-article-1.1990020 SJU reviewing transcript I would assume that Quinny is doing the same thing with Gio McLean's transcripts.
