I saw the Iona line posted here at minus 5. couple other interesting lines. Siena opened +9.5 now at +7.5. Another line if found interesting was St. Peter's +6 at Brown

Their PG Charlie Lee (not Lewis as I originally posted and now revised) was suspended for our game. Great for our chances of winning but disappointing that we can't do it against their best lineup.

If all the other posters, not named ichoops, think the way I do, then we'll be very disappointed if we don't win our opener. However, I'm sure that Cleveland State fans feel the same way about their team. Since, I've talked myself into thinking our team is special, I'm expecting a double digit win.

Seems like Iona is the only favored MAAC team.

Perfect scenario, actually. We don't have to feel "bad" about beating them with the help of an injured player, plus it's not like the RPI puts an asterisk next to any games where a key player was missing. Run them out of the building.

I sincerely hope that I am wrong, but I have had a feeling for several weeks now that the Gaels will lose their first 3 OOC games this season. I think this team despite its 3 stars may need a while to gel. But I intend to be at the Cleveland State game and want the Gaels to prove me wrong.

Even though most morning papers show line to be Iona 3 point favorite, that is the opening line, and not the line as of 10 am today.....The actual line is still Iona a 6 1/2 point favorite... Siena a 9 1/2 dog at UMASS ...seems like those smart betters are to wise to fall for Siena's relentless propaganda... Wofford as of now a 12 point dog at Stanford 10 pm....Quinny at home a 1 point favorite against a tough Ivy League team Yale.7 pm.......... Will be as all early season games are a good indicator as to future opponents strength...Tuesday 7 am.

OT, not sure but the Quinny-Yale game might be at a neutral court. Just not sure.
