That North Texas win over Creighton is what makes last night's loss to GMU so frustrating. North Texas only loss at home this year is to Iona, 6-1. Creighton is not ranked but a very solid team (9-4).

Jaspers beat Fordham 71-57. Trademark Manhattan. First time I've seen them this year. Constant pressure, tough defense. Emmy really poised. The only guy who can short a lick is Richards, but they got a lot of transition baskets and just wore Fordham out. Pascall to me still doesn't look like he's conditioned well enough. Rams missed a lot of FTs due to fatigue I think. Normally they're a pretty good FT shooting team.

How did Lawrence and Pankey look? Pankey looked good. Made a couple of nice low post moves with his back to the basket. Lawrence looks like he's not ready yet. Probably will be a beast by the time we play them.

George Mason now 5-6 with a nice road win against Wright State 68-60. Niagara, leading most of the game, drop to 1-8, losing at home to Arkansas State 74-69.

G masons rpi skyrockets to 130, fgcu is now 124, we are at 75. Basically it is turning out that the g mason loss was not bad.
And by the way the Maac ooc year has been just awful.

Remarkable Iona "flavor" on televised games yesterday
Casey Stanley and the UNCW team actually led Minnesota (Dan McCann) by 8 late in the first half before a 19-0 run.
Seton Hall (Willard, Holloway, Smyth) easily defeated Maine (Walsh, Boisvert),
Willie hasn't traveled too far (except St Thomas) for his OOC victories.
