Going to be a tough one on the road.
Go Gaels!
Btw, believe it's been 5 years or so since we won our first two games to start the season.

This is a tall order. We will need to play extremely well.

Couple of facts about Wofford, in case anyone is interested. Located in Spartenburg, SC and about 100 years older than Iona, founded in 1854. Most famous alum, at least I think he is, is Jerry Richardson, former NFL player (Colts) and owner of the Carolina Panthers. They have a small team, so once again it might be hard to find minutes for Hines/Robinson. I'm hoping that Ryden gets a lot of PT since this is an opportunity for his family in Alaska to watch him play.

[The season is its infant stage, but so far nothing that would change Iona's selection as the MAAC's premier team has loomed...In fact if anything it has been re-enforced....... IMO we can be a very tough out especially for MAAC teams...We should also be very competitive with our OOC schedule...Any opponent without a dominant height advantage led by a strong big man will have trouble with our high powered offense....We have our big three with the addition of Casimir and a yet to fill his full promise Amayo...There is a rare possibility that we will have 5 team members that average double figures...It would be hard to find another team with that potential... All that without unforeseen misfortune should bring another banner season.....

OT, any spread on the Wofford game, as of yet? I'm guessing Iona will be a 2-3 point favorite.

One thing I do like about this game is that they just made a trip to the West Coast and back.

Just a hunch but I got a feeling Ellis will see some key minutes. Wofford played 9 guys with over 10 minutes each. That is the only scary part of their Stanford box score. I hope the boys eat their Wheaties and the bench is ready to go.
