Schadrac's performance on opening night was classic Schadrac! Thank goodness his mentors, especially Troy Bradford, yes the same Troy Bradford who scored 1,600+ points for Fairfield U, kept calling and pushing the youngster to our coaching staff and thank goodness Cluess gave him a chance to work out with the team and prove he could play in his system. Some of you may wonder how did a Fairfield County kid not end up at Fairfield U or QU? Well they simply didn't think he could play at their level! They were correct, he is a high level mid-major player, who happens to be a bit undersized, except when you measure him by his results!
One game does not make a career, however I have seen his play against great Prep schools and national AAU competition and this was just a typical day at the gym for Sed! He's a winner and he scores in the flow of the game, a great team player. Congrats to Sed, his family and the whole Gael family for giving such a great kid a chance.

"He scores in the flow of the game". That is the perfect comment on the two times I have seen him and expect that to be the case all year. He is the type of player you look up at the scoreboard and may be surprised he has so many points.
Tomorrow I expect a big game from aj and Laury, but I bet Sed still has 15.

You verbalized well what I felt about his first game. There were no forced shots, nor did he strut after making a shot. I labeled the kid an assassin after the game, and I meant it as a compliment - very business-like, gets the job done and moves on. The only thing he had problems with Friday night was putting on the head phones for the post-game interview with Ed. Guess the staff felt they had more time to coach him up on that one.
