Bill, nice article. B/t/w, there was a writeup on the three new Lady Gaels on the official Iona website, in case you missed it.

girls have lost 2 of their first 3 games? from what I have heard , we are supposed to have a team that could actually be ranked in top 25

My initial take on the team is that we need a low post player. We got a 6'4 transfer from LaSalle, but she plays on the perimeter. The PG transfer is good, along with Damika and Joy, but it seems that the coaches are still looking for the final two pieces. And like the Men they are playing a very hard OOC schedule. In time, with so many new players they should be fine, but it may take time.

Hey boys--let's agree to call them "women."

Super, I think you meant to say boy and not boys. And by that I only saw one mention of girls. Or did I misunderstand you?

Hey boys--let's agree to call them "women." tiger is a St Johns fan. Us Iona boys are not going to make that mistake.

SLG, please use the term men and not boys. When I turned 75, I became a man. But I sure miss my time as a boy. (Smiley Face)
