This deserves it own post IMHO. It looks like my wild guess proved right. Jon Rothstein @jonrothstein 16m16 minutes ago BREAKING ---- Missouri transfer + fmr Notre Dame guard Cameron Biedscheid has committed to Iona, source told @cbssports. Story coming. A Daly Dose Of Hoops dalydoseofhoops 11m11 minutes ago Cameron Biedscheid to Iona? WHOA. Tim Cluess just got himself one hell of a shooter. #ICMBB Adam Zagoria @adamzagoria 7m7 minutes ago Beidschied arrives at Iona midyear and will apply for a hardship waiver Cam Biedscheid - 6'7"SF who averaged 6.2 points and 1.4 rebounds as a freshman at Notre Dame and then transferred to Missouri and then left the program. Was an ESPN Top 100 (64th) player coming out of high school with a grade of 93. Great athlete that can handle the ball, pass, shoot the jumper and likes to run. Committed to ND early his junior year but had looks from Indiana, Illinois, Butler, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, UNLV, Saint Louis and Miami. * 2012 Gatorade Player of the Year in Missouri * Selected to play in the 2011 Nike Global Challenge where he earned all-tournament team honors. * 4 star recuit and No. 49 by Scout.com * 4 star recruit and No. 28 by Rivals.com * Parade All-America Team

Incredible job by staff. If he gets the hardship does that mean he is eligible this year (after Christmas) or next season?

why is he on his 3rd school as a sophomore? Can he play soon, does clock on the yr start when he left ND or MIZZ since he never played

Incredible job by staff. If he gets the hardship does that mean he is eligible this year (after Christmas) or next season? He already sat the year at Missouri and they had a coaching staff change... so he might get cleared immediately. It might be better for him to just play next season so he would have three years left and he could load up on classes. He could have his masters completed before his college hoops career is complete. But seeing him on the floor this year would be interesting.

This makes sense now. Knew we were going for someone with potential eligibility at mid-season mark. My money was on Whittington. Kudos to 86 for cracking this one. How about this for a lineup?
DL3 Cam Isaiah AJ Casimir
With Amayo, Hines, Robinson, Ibn off the bench.
