Hope to hear news soon on OOC sked! I'm hoping for a strong OOC schedule with a concentration on "up games" against strong programs. I have little interest in playing any of the local programs, unless it means a game in a high profile venue against St John's or Seton Hall, or a CAA-MAAC double header challenge against Hofstra, which should have a strong team this year. Let's schedule to improve our RPI and Kenpom, and forget the rest of the local programs, which are firmly in our rear view mirror. And by God if we do schedule a weak team like George Mason don't play like crap and lose to them. That was a VERY bad loss last season.

I don't consider George Mason a weak team. They've just had a couple of poor seasons. Similar to a non MAAC team playing Siena.

That was the 2nd to worst game I witnessed in the Cluess era. And the worst was the third game he coached. An awful loss.

I'm all for playing Fordham. Their team, imo, is improving, and they have an up and coming coach. I do agree with turning down the two year deal with the first game at Rose Hill, but would have countered with a four game deal, as follows: '15-16 Team A, the home team. '16-17 Team B, home. '17-18, Team B, home. '18-19, Team A home.
And flip a coin to determine, whether you're Team A or B. Does anyone agree?
P.S. I'm told that we have two OOC games, Drexel and Tulsa. Still not many.

Just out of curiosity, anyone know why season ticket registrations were sent out before OOC schedule was released? Would seem to me like it would make more sense to hold until OOC games are locked in, so fans know who we are playing and how many home games we have, before solicitations would begin. Guess it's just a timing thing.

Not interested in making any commitment to Fordham. They have been a very weak program for too long. Iona should be looking ahead, not behind. Fordham is the past.

1983, remember, we seem to be having a great deal of trouble getting decent teams to play us at the HAC. And like them or not, I'm guessing that a game against Fordham will be a big draw.
