Keep an eye out for a game at MSG, against a power team from a power conference, just a hunch! For the people that believe MSG or Barclays isn't a big deal, Roundtree went to MSG while he was here at posted it on Twitter

Would love to see local media hold Mullin's feet to the fire about NY basketball--play us in the Garden.

SJU vs Iona at MSG would be very well attended... a few years ago Hofstra hosted Iona and it was the largest crowd of that year for Hofstra...half the seats were Iona fans (long island alumni).

Agreed. SJU vs. Iona along with another high-profile team against a local mid would be a great day for NYC hoops and would pack the Garden. Any combination of SJU, Iona, UConn, Fordham would be a great doubleheader.

we should play UConn, that will sell out even though it would be like a road game and get 2 more games there after that one. Once people see us they will want to see us again combine with Columbia or stony brook, if we can't work with Fordham, Manhattan, or Hofstra

A number of posters on the Fordham board want no part of us. The real reason is because they are deathly afraid tof losing to us. They have to maintain their phony air of superiority about us whether it be academically or that ridiculous "we're in the A-10" nonsense. If we ever do play them we should insist the first game be a home game for us. We are the better team and have been so for probably the past quarter of a century.

What is even in it for Iona to play Fordham at this point? Schedule a home-and-home with another A-10 program like we have recently, be it with St. Bona or George Mason. Heck, I'll bet most A-10 programs would rather play us than the Bronx Rams!

Would love to see a home game with Dayton.
It would be a solid match-up for both teams and Dayton has a sizeable amount of alumni in the NY area.
Maybe they would schedule something before or after they wipe the floor with Nat U.

An Iona-Fordham game might not do much for Iona, but it would help College BB in the NY Metro area. As would Iona-SJU. So if we want to see the college game get more ink in the Media Capital of the World, then we should play Fordham on a home and home basis. The A10 is a higher rated conference, even if we are not playing one of the top teams.

Maybe they would schedule something before or after they wipe the floor with Nat U. Dayton won't do a home-and-home with Iona. They mostly buy OOC home games unless it's a series with a Power 5 school. Iona's most recent game at Dayton was a buy game. Most other A-10 teams should be doable.
