Don't know how I feel about this pickup but he looks like a project. Definitely an upgrade over several players on the team currently but I feel the staff needs to go bigger with recruiting.

I bet he's a soph next year. Played point guard in HS. All Rochester. Long talented guard. Probably tired of the lake effect

Unless the staff already knows another scholarship is going to open up, this is a bit puzzling to me.this would only leave 1 scholarship remaining. there are close to 50 transfers already this year. there will be hundreds of transfers at the end of the second semester and the staff is still involved with a lot of pretty good recruits.

All we know for sure is that he played 6.6 minutes per game, played in 22 games and averaged 1.2 pts for Buffalo as a freshman. Then he left. Doesn't sound great does it?

The kid can hit it from long range. He can also slash. Good defender. St. Bonaventure also recruited him out of prep.

Grasso sleeper. Great size. Adds length. Runs the floor. Great fit

This has to qualify as a surprising pick up. Good coming out of HS, but did next to nothing at Buffalo. Was he injured? Why wasn't he on the Buffalo roster, this year? Eventually we'll know. I think we all have enough faith in TC and JG to believe that they know what they are doing. And in time we'll know. I do know that when I asked JG what position we were targeting with our last scholarship (and expecting/hoping to hear, a Big), I was told we were after a starter. Time will tell.

Questions and mystery surround this kid...
Last year in High School made the Ronald McDonald All star team. Averaged 21 PPG......5 Rebounds.....6 assists and 3 steals...Reputation as a very good defensive player...With them figures would have expected more when at Buffalo, but for some reason did not get much playing time...
As often said.....Put trust in Cluess....

While I agree that Deyshonee's college stats don't amount to "Much" this video from a few year's ago show him to be an athletic player who can score from outside and at the rim, block opponent's shots and make accurate passes to teammates. Let's hope he can demonstrate all these abilities for the Gaels once he becomes eligible. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn9H209r4hA

Hey, remember before the season we all thought Amayo was going to be a superstar and we couldn't even figure out why we offered a spot to Mohammed?
No way to know whether this kid will come in and be a star or will have a nice spot on the bench next to Ellis and Robinson.

In the Indiana State thread, I believe, someone asked who was the guy on the bench, next to Bessick, in street clothes? Someone figured it was one of our practice players. Is it possible it was Much?
