Here's the latest NY Post Local Power Poll from 1/2/15 and next to it is the spread for a game each team would play with us on a neutral court based on Sagarin's latest index.
1. Seton Hall -5 2. St. John's. -4 3. Iona 4. Hofstra Pick'em 5. Stony Brook +2 6. Columbia +3.5 7. Army. +7 8. Rutgers. +6 9. St. Francis +7 10. Manhattan. +9
Fordham did not make the poll. They would be a 12pt underdog to us on a neutral court based on the current index.

That's not right, I keep reading St Johns and Seton Hall are worlds better than us.

That's not right, I keep reading St Johns and Seton Hall are worlds better than us. According to Sagarin, mere 4/5 point favorites over us on a neutral court. Of course, when will we ever play them on a neutral court?

Just noticed Iona's RPI is at 65, not sure how it improved so much tonight. We also have pomeroy and sagarin's in the low 70's which is good for both of these polls. Despite the good power ratings I think should we make it we will get screwed on seeding due to no good OOC wins, unless Wake Forest can have a better than expected ACC season.

Manhattan got a 13 last year with a similar RPI and no great wins. If we get the RPI closer to 50, we could get a 12.

This years team feels like a 14, but would not be surprised if we came in at 13 or 15. As my memory serves, we were a 12 in 1998 against Syracuse and I felt that was one of our top teams.

Agree, what will make it so much tougher this year is we will not get any top 100 wins against conference opponents, the last few years there was several opportunities. With the Maac so down, Unless we run the table or just 1 loss a 12 will be very difficult.

We are 0-3.
