benviky, its ok ghost and st.louis are part of the cult. even though we agree cluess is a good coach but has some flaws you aren't allowed to speak about them. we are in goods hands with the coaching staff, but we have only one the maac tournament once and we are not good in close games, in part to the system and only using 6 guys in the maac. i would to win 1 NCCA game or at least win some of the games against 50-100 teams but some are just happy and the style is fun. You have that right - I am part of the cult. I travel all over the Midwest to see Iona give blood to the likes of Ole Miss, Sacred Heart, (technically in the South) Louisville, Kansas, Arkansas, Indiana State, etc. I have even drummed up business trips to NY so that I could see Iona play in MSG when Iona played meaningful games in MSG. Hell, I post on this board which is automatic membership in the Iona cult for me. I enjoy Iona basketball because I am part of the cult; and I can walk away from all of those games with serene feeling of having reconnected with the cult. While we are on the subject of coaches who do not know how get their teams ready to win the big one. What did you think of Pete Carroll last Sunday when his quarterback completed more passes to GB than to his own receivers. Coach's fault! Taking it a step further, Wilson did put in an AJ type game - mistake here a mistake there, but?? Or was McCarthy the dummy who did not have his team ready to field an on-side kick?
