Excellent! Prefer when the team controls it's own destiny. Not interested in backing in to a seed. I don't like to make predictions but I'm pretty sure we can win one of these last 3. Which one?

Win tomorrow or any of 3 remaining games were MAAC CHAMPS...
Monmouth plays Rider Thursday...Loser eliminated...
The only longshot way I can see to lose MAAC is for us to lose all three remaining games and Monmouth to win all three of theirs...Virtue of their then 2 season wins over us they would be champs....
IMO complacency and a bit of its companion 'Smugness' has infested us and caused the wild score changes and dead periods that have struck our team...Our 'come to our sense ability' and superior talent level has carried us through the storm...
With the next two games at home and a friendly crowd of enthusiastic fans we should once again get down to serious business of end to end basketball...

Does this really look like an at large team right now? Stupid fouls, poor shooting, can' t rebound.

The second foul call on Dave was atrocious. Actually missed him getting fouled. Its also clear Monmouth cares more about beating us than we do about beating them. Energy very poor. Little movement on offense. Monmouth shooting the ball very well. They are a good team.

Iona is not beating Iona. Monmouth is beating the xxxx out of Iona.

Sorry, I really am trying to take nothing away from Monmouth. Maybe they beat us anyway. They are a good team with good size and the PG is a player. But we haven't shown up in this game. Energy very poor. Shooting very poor. No Dave in the first half didn't help.

Monmouth beating Iona in every aspect of the game. We are a very complacent team right now, so this loss (based on what I've seen so far a loss today seems assured) may be a blessing in disguise. I was concerned about heading into the conf tourney riding a long winning streak with a team that only seems to summon energy for Siena or Manhattan.
By the way is AJ available to play today? I see a guy wearing his jersey but have yet to see AJ.

We also miss IW's length and shooting against a tall team like Monmouth.

Energy very poor. Shooting very poor. No Dave in the first half didn't help. The guy who didn't play in the first half had 12 points and was our leading scorer. He also had a couple of dumb fouls. AJ looks like a 4th guard that plays garbage time. Hines has been so bad this game it is hard to describe. He got tied up by a guy over a foot shorter than him but he seemed stronger. I could go on but I need to vomit.
