I am very proud to have DLIII as a Gael. I had the pleasure of speaking with him after our last game against Loyola in Baltimore (when my avatar picture was taken with Sean). He is a true gentle giant. I felt like the girl in Animal House with the "Do you mind if we dance with your dates" guy when he shook my hand. He truly enveloped my entire hand. After reading the story of his upbringing, I found myself getting a bit choked up when I told him that we were proud to have him as a part of our Iona family. I could tell that he appreciated the sentiment. He's a fine young man.
Go Gaels!!!

DL III appreciates the opportunity that Iona (Cluess) has given him, Going to MAAC, Z???

Gotta be careful with the early AJ is horrible comments. Money in the bank at the end of the game. Didn't deserve this one, have some work to do but regular season champs! Careful? He would say he was horrible for much of the game.

WOW, that was an ugly win, but it beats the hell out of losing. Even when we were down 14 I still believed that we could win it. This team has a "refuse to lose" attitude. Should we have lost -- maybe, but I'm thinking that this year may be payback for those games we should have won in the past. I love this team's attitude. What a clutch shot and +1 by AJ and block by KA with :2.8 left. Go Gaels!!! Oh, by the way, did anyone else have problems with the webcast on ICGaels.com? It would never play on my laptop and would repeat the same pregame comments by Ed for about 20 seconds before cutting out. My son ran it thru Apple TV to the widescreen. Awesome picture and Sherman/Kennedy were even bearable. Agree. They were bearable. Disagree with Kennedy opinion that AJ gets MVP. I believe it has to be DL.

Unofficially, 0.99 points per possession for Monmouth. 8th time in 9 games Iona holds opponent under 1 point per possession

No one said he was horrible, just that he didn't show up to play in the 1st half. He does that in the MAAC tourney and we are playing in the NIT.

AJ is one clutch player. This team finds ways to win. Keep winning, nothing good about a loss at this point. I like the team when aj and Sed play off the ball and amayo starts it off handling, frees up AJ and Sed to hit 3's.

Z-73, had the same problem with audio feed. WTF? We want to be a big time program and we can't do a video feed? I think Casey and Ed are great and deserve better. So do I for spending my money to get it!

Has a very high basketball IQ and comes across as very thoughtful , composed and intelligent in interviews. I'm proud of high, and of the school for giving him the opportunity to grow and succeed.

We easily could have lost this one but the gods were in our favor today. At halftime, the college honored the Congregation of Christian Brothers - about a dozen or so Brothers were brought out onto the court.
If I'm TC, I make sure all those guys have tickets to Albany.
