Steve Masiello on Iona: "I thought they should have got in (to the NCAA) last year, that's how good they were." #ICMBB 9:24pm - 27 Feb 15 Tweet from daily dose of hoops Massiello and Patsos are both crazed animals on the sidelines, but I must respect that both have stepped up at different times in recognition of the Gaels.

For those who watched on espn2. Did they mention anything about an AJ injury? Or just cramped up?

I saw a huge black kid in the hall, gold shirt and glasses. I'm assuming that was Robinson?
Also, I think Nakeia Miller was there?

It looked like IBN was hurt, hope he's ok for Sunday. On a separate note, Sherman in a complimentary fashion mentioned that according to Lunardi, Iona would be a 12 seed and if any other MAAC team won the conference, they would be a 14 or 15.

Meant no mention of AJ injury Trainer was working on his leg right after he banged those 3 3's and layup in 2nd half. Assume it was cramp

Just got back from the game and post game.
Pre-game ceremonies very nice, and very classy to honor Haynes. Place was packed and atmosphere great. Very big student turnout and they were very loud. So was the rest of the crowd. I love this rivalry and the intensity of the games.
Very good win tonight. Team looked sharp , especially AJ. IW played serious minutes (I guess due to Hines picking up 2 quick fouls) and made a huge contribution. Just wait till he's close to 100%.
This is what college hoops is all about. Great job Iona.

I watched part of the first half and recorded the whole game. From what I saw in the first half was that IW is key to this team winning a or 2 in the NCAA's. Also if Kelvin takes the ball up the court and then passes to either AJ or Casimir the offense runs better. Teams are all over AJ if he takes the ball up the court it also frees up the offense plus Kelvin can take it full court and score as well. This team feeds off of IW's energy and will be a dangerous matchup. Let's beat St Peter's and roll thru the MAAC's. In TC and Staff I trust

Unlike Guy, I fear everyone. Teams I DON'T want to play: 1. Saturday-Siena. For obvious reason. 2. Sunday-Manhattan, if they are in our bracket. 3. Monday-Manhattan, if they are not in our bracket. Quinnipiac, second choice.

B/t/w, where was Jermaine Lawrence? Was he hurt? He had his best game as a Jasper, this week vs. Marist.
