86, do you know if Iona is after any of the kids ('16-17-18) that are playing in this week's mini tournament? I don't know. I would need to see all of the teams who are there and breakdown the rosters.

You'd think with all of these quality RPI programs outside the "Power 5" leagues, scheduling could be made a lot easier by just playing each other. It would be great to see the upper level MAAC/CAA/NEC/AE teams partner up with leagues like the A10 and MVC for good OOC matchups. Scheduling difficulty is not unique to Iona or Stephen F. Austin (who should be on the schedule).
Edit: Count me among those who can't understand not playing Hofstra, Stony Brook, Army, LIU, etc.

For what ever reason, TC always seems to prefer playing better teams than those in the Metro area who are willing to play us. Hofstra and Stony Brook would be good (RPI) opponents. Perhaps Hofstra holds a grudge because we wouldn't let TC go there w/o a buyout. And SB feels we stole their design.

Had to make a quick trip to Iona, this morning, to meet up with Peter Kollmann, in order to purchase a copy of his book on Iona athletics. While there, I stumbled onto a couple of additional tidbits. *Saw Ryden Hines walking with the aid of crutches. But I didn't see a cast or anything, and he seemed to be walking pretty well. *Schedulewise, it looks like an away game at Tulsa is finalized. *We might see a BB recruiting article, next week.
Day Camp starts next week, with the HS tourney ending tonight. Hopefully, someone can make it, as I can't.
