Jon Rothstein @jonrothstein · 9m Hofstra's Omar Silverio has received a waiver from the NCAA and is eligible to play during the 2019-20 college basketball season, per release. Transfer from Rhode Island. Good sign? For him! I assume for Hofstra also. Thanks, you're allot of help.

Well according to a article by Zagoria, the reasoning for the waiver was because Silverio has a strong local support system. Have to think that's a good sign for Washington's waiver being approved. As far as Thiam is concerned, IF he was told he wouldn't be on scholarship next season, he probably has a decent chance of getting his waiver approved. There have been more announcements recently on these waivers, hopefully get some good news soon.

Nicholas Evtimov - 6'8" PF out of Lewisville, N.C. - Rated 3 stars by ESPN. This kid has a great hoops IQ and as great fundamental skills. He has good hands and very good footwork in the paint. He is very good at creating space and uses fakes very effectively to get his shot off. He is also a good team player and likes to draw the defense to him and kicks the ball out to the open wings. He has a ton of upside and if he keeps working hard he will be a monster by the time he is a college junior. He can stretch the =defense with his outside shot but is a tough inside presence. Offers from Colgate, Bucknell, Appalachian State, and Iona. interest from Cambell, Richmond, Iowa, and Wofford. I expect his stock to rise this summer while playing AAU. He comes from good bloodlines... His father is Vassil Evtimov, a 6'10" French/Bulgarian hoops star, a 1996 McDonald's All American at Long Island Lutheran and UNC player, He was known as the Bulgarian Bull. A tough inside player and rebounder. Had a long career in the French, Italians and Greek pro leagues. His Uncle is Ilian Evtimov, a 6'7" SF/PF French/Bulgarian hoops star who had a great career at NC State and played in the French and Italian Pro leagues. vimeo.com/212580567 Pulled this from I86's efforts when we first offered him.

Evtimov was a freshman at Western Carolina so he is leaving before season starts? Interesting. Would he still have to sit out since he didn't play and how would this impact number of years left?
Very high effort player. Saw him play multiple times at Greensboro Day, where he was a starter and major contributor for a powerhouse program. Thought he was a higher level player than where he signed. Made the French U19 team this summer.
Cluess coached his uncle his freshman year at St. Mary's where he played on the varsity before transferring.

Rashaun Agee verbally commits to New Mexico State - I’d say very strange Agee's name surfaced on the MAAC board. I just noticed that VC has him listed as a walk-on at New Mexico St. Kind of odd he would walk-on at NMSU instead of a scholarship to play with his brother at Iona

VC has him listed as walk-on. Their site has like 16 players listed. He is listed as a red shirt. Supposedly NMSU takes prop 48 kids. Have a feeling that's the case
