Valpo is good but they shouldn't be ranked ahead of Rhody. Iona is better than 79, off by about 20 points. Also their ranking of Monmouth is way off base imo.

Jordan Washington looks like he is in good shape according to that photo of him. I know some were concerned about his weight but it looks like he's worked hard and trimmed down

I can relate as I also am the son of an Iona alumnist who took me to games when I was very young and I also got to see Valvano and Ruland and have remained a very loyal fan ever since despite being an alumni of another school. Some people can't understand but if you been rooting for a team for years and years before you go to another college how do you stop if you are a true loyal fan? I never did and back in my days of college it wasn't nearly as easy as now to follow the team but I did and continue to to this day, I'm glad for it as Iona basketball remains a huge part of my sports enjoyment. I think a big part of Iona's fan base is built from the loyal followers of the Ruland/Valvano era who tasted the success of a top 20 team and yearn to come close to that again. Unfortunately nowadays it is very difficult to keep the students and youth to remain loyal followers in their adult years, but big success can help to create life long fans, and big success nowadays is an NCAA win and this program needs this badly to help maintain a strong fan base in the future.
