Great win for Monmouth. It's time for Iona to send a message in the OOC part of the schedule, win at least one of the games against Valpo/OSU. On a side note, Rhode Island might have lost one of their better players, EC Mathews. left the game and taken to the hospital last night with a knee injury. Hope it isn't as bad as it was made to sound on twitter last night, hate to see kids getting hurt

Does the 30 second clock matter? For Butler I guess it does as they scored 144 points, last night.

Manhattan hanging tough at St. Mary's, down 46-36 at the half. Missing 4 players to injury.
Monmouth down 47-46 at the half at USC, after being down 16. Monmouth is really good and is 9 deep.

Have to give props to CM as he has his SJU team playing well, even if the opposition is very weak. They look much better than they did in their two exhibitions. I must say that I was surprised when the TV guide that they were playing in the Maui Invitational, and then watched the team playing at Carneseca. What's the story with that?

Monmouth is off to a very impressive start. Rice has them playing very well early. Didn't they do a foreign trip before the season to get ready for the season? We're going to have to catch up to them.

Once again proving that exhibition games mean nothing.
