I heard we are adding a doctorate program in basketball studies.
The fact that Iona is keeping busy on the recruiting trail is the one thing that tells me that TC will be back. This year or next.
I too am very happy to hear that we are out recruiting, We will need a big overhaul for next year, However I don't know if that indicates Cluess will be back this year or next. I think the fact we are recruiting means he has intentions to return, which is a good sign.
Add offers from Stetson, *Coastal Carolina, Radford along with the 2 you mentioned Drake & Akron. Interest from LSU, New Mexico State, Boise State, UNC Asheville, Wichita State.
Some list him @ 6'6 but I think he's more of a 6'7 frame. 2 time state champion. Been informed he has a high basketball IQ. We need some of that.

Iona offers 6'6" JUCO guard Cam Holden. Stats show he's not a perimeter shooter but likely a kid that attacks the rim and rebounds. Holds a couple LM and D2 offers.
IF nobody leaves the program, Iona still has 5 open scholarships. Have now offered 3-4 G/F JUCO kids the last few days. Would think need at least 1 more big as well a PG. Would like to see a couple HS/PREP kids in the mix.
Iona offers 6'6" JUCO guard Cam Holden. Stats show he's not a perimeter shooter but likely a kid that attacks the rim and rebounds. Holds a couple LM and D2 offers.
He was a 2X All-State 1st Team selection (GA-AAAA) coming out of high school. His senior year he averaged 30.5ppg 12.3rpg 2.3bpg. Ranked 67th on the Top 100 JUCO recruits by JUCORecruiting.com. In a recent game against Northwest Florida State, he dropped 41 points 17 rebounds and 3 assists.
Some reports from high school:
"Cameron Holden, 2018, 6-5 SF, Mary Persons High School (4A): Holden is a throwback player that has little junk yard dog in him. His old school style isn’t popular nowadays; nevertheless, he consistently produces at a high rate. Last season, he was named Region 2-AAAA Co-Player of the Year. Heading into his final season, he has posted career averages of 18-points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game. The 6-foot-5 forward does a little bit of everything well, so expect him to have another huge statistical output in 2017-18. Low-majors such as Charleston Southern and Winthrop have been in contact." - 2017-2018 GHSa Small Foward Preview - AUGUST 28, 2017
"Holden, 6-foot-5, is a versatile freak of nature. Using his entire offensive repertoire, he keeps bigger defenders off balance out on the perimeter and has his way in the mid-post area with smaller opponents"- Atlanta Classic Dynamic Duos and Trios – May 17, 2017
"Holden is an intriguing prospect. While his game doesn’t wow you at first sight, upon further evaluation you will quickly realize that this kid is the REAL DEAL! Simply put, he can do it all. The 6-foot-5 guard showed that he can score at will from the perimeter and mid-post area. Playing on an undersized team, Holden flourished on the offensive and defensive interior against taller players. His 36-points, 9-rebounds, 4-assists, and 3-blocks in the 17U SEC Division championship game sparked conversation. Coaches raved about his potential. Add Furman to the list of suitors interested in the multi-talented junior following the travel season’s first evaluation period." - Sweet 16 Session I Wrap up – April 26, 2017

Glad to be proven wrong. The stats I saw earlier were fromhis Fr JUCO season when he shot 20-98 (20%) from three. He has really improved this season, shooting 28-75 (37%) from three so far as well as making huge jumps in PPG and RPG. Another great stat is over his 2 seasons so far he averages around 8 free throws per game.

That's why I86 is the best
Remember... we agreed that you get $25 each time you say something nice about me... not $35.

Funny! Appreciate both of your insights.
