Recently fired,he better be ready for losing, needs to repair a lot of things there,I wish I knew what Repole thinks. I am surprised Tim Welsh's never came up in the interview process. I give Anderson 2 years. Only a NY guy can handle that job

Interested to see how many years, and for how much. Would guess four years, considering that SJU was backed into a corner. SLG, probably remembers him from his time at Missouri. Hopefully, he'll have something to say. On cue! Mike Anderson pulled Missouri out of the debacle created by Quinn Snyder, so he knows how to turn around a program. Also, Anderson has some experience in the snake pit. "Anderson misled Missouri director of athletics Mike Alden and the MU administration. Anderson clearly gave Mizzou a signal that he'd stay as long as the university sweetened his contract to put him at about $2 million a year, and MU acted on that request. . .. Operating in good faith, Alden made a genuine attempt to give the restless coach the respect, the money, that he sought. Even though Alden lost respect in the process — because many Mizzou fans deemed it foolish and wasteful to give Anderson $2 million a year — Alden took Anderson at his word, only to be manipulated by the agent and his client. Alden and MU had already given Anderson a big raise in 2009, when Georgia came calling after Anderson led the Tigers on a joy ride to the Elite Eight. But less than a year later, Anderson had the audacity to go on a listening tour and flirted with Oregon. And even after Arkansas entered the coach-search contest, Alden still believed that Anderson was worth the trouble, and the money. Alden found more cash for Anderson, to pump the contract up to $2 million a year." BY BERNIE MIKLASZ, Post-Dispatch Sports Columnist Mar 24, 2011

In last 24 hours he has retweeted several pro Cluess to St. johns tweets, and prior to that he was inactive for a year. What's the over/under on how many hours until his account is shutdown and/or that one tweet is deleted? Just checked looks like Kevin Cluess tweet was deleted, pretty funny! Don’t think you can delete retweets so those are still there. I now put the over/under at 12 hours for his Twitter account to be deleted. Final results You can delete retweets because all the pro Cluess St. John’s retweets by Kevin Cluess are gone, and now 2 tweets about tc staying at Iona are left there. And for those who haven’t noticed Tim Cluess’s Twitter is now active for the first time ever as he tweeted his statement there. I would tend to doubt you will see much Twitter activity by him going forward.

If someone took a screen shot of a tweet before it was deleted, like people do with Trump when he deletes a tweet on occasion, there is nothing you can do about that.

Anybody up for a laugh should follow Jareds twitter post of the article about Iona being a winner in the St.John's fiasco. St. John's fans losing their minds. It's wonderful.

Wow! SJU fans are nutter than the three or four nut cases at Siena.

EP, I have to stick up for my MAAC brethren, as I feel that Siena fans are just as crazy as the crazy SJU fans. And maybe more so, when you add in Saintly, who doesn't post much anymore.

You've got to look at Twitter. They are paying homage to MA. He's their Moses to lead them to the promised land.

Enough!!!!!!!!I have posted many times that Cluess is not going anywhere...He will soon be in mid 60s and has shown the basketball world his genius...His speculation nas increased each year, but he will soon enter his 10th year at Iona...The newest news is that he has hired a agent...Not news to me, it would be more newsworthy if had not hired one several years ago to protect his interests...
With the trickeries and power struggles at ST.John it was not the place for Cluess where the charade continues...!!!OT

Willard getting the Michigan job would be the best thing that could happen IMO toward locking Cluess up long-term.
