Iona Men won for the 27th straight time, longest DI streak, yesterday for the MAAC championship. The Women also won, for the 12th in the last 13th championship races. Gaels also had both individual champions, Tario for the Men and Morenaite for the Women. Ricardo Santos continues his era of excellence. Congrats to all.

There is one constant for Iona XC, SUCCESS! Congratulations to both the Iona Men & Women Harriers on their latest MAAC titles. Outstanding performance by the Gold Standard Gaels! Congratulations to all of the runners, coaches & support staff. Wonderful program that just keeps churning out championships.

Another tremendous accomplishment. Men's team is ranked 25th in last weeks poll. Should move up today, but still under-ranked. Next step is the regional in Buffalo November 10. Should be successful there, and onto the NCAA championships. Let's go for another top 10 finish!

Gaels finish 12th, running in bad conditions.
Freshman Egle Morenaite represented the women's team, finishing 158th place out of 255 runners.

Gaels finish 12th, running in bad conditions. Freshman Egle Morenaite represented the women's team, finishing of 158th place out of 255 runners. And they beat Syracuse! Syracuse - Iona 1-2 in the northeast for the last several years.
