Assume we are rooting for Niagara to beat Canisius tonight?

05, I'm not sure. Since we beat Canisius twice, and we end up in a multi team tie, it might be good to have Canisius as one of the teams we're tied with. To be honest it just makes my head spin, trying to figure it out.

Assume we are rooting for Niagara to beat Canisius tonight? Its good if Canisius loses if we lose, its bad if they lose and we win. Again need a crystal ball. Basically being in a tie with Canisius involved is a good thing.

I just hope we keep winning. but it would suck if we win and come in 2nd because of the tie breaker

I was there and it was one of my most enjoyable basketball experiences. Watching Frans head explode is always fun. Especially when his team is getting punked by a mediocre team. Buckeyes scored 13 points in the second half against MSU 10 days ago and pinned 90 on Iowa. Very enjoyable experience.

I just hope we keep winning. but it would suck if we win and come in 2nd because of the tie breaker I agree. 2 weeks ago it looked like if we won all the remaining games, (which seemed very doubtful), we would win the league, and now we are down to one tough road game, and even with that win we could fall short, this would be especially tough. It would make losing in the tourney, and the season being over, even harder to swallow.

It would for sure, there are still a lot of different scenarios, all we can do at this point is win Friday and let the cards fall where they will.

Relax, just hope for a big win Friday and whatever else happens is out of our hands. Would love to get first place for the NIT bid, but 2nd place at least gets us a day off.

Regardless, the way the team has responded down the stretch is incredible.

There are 7 games left on the MAAC schedule that will affect Iona's seed at this point. Best scenarios:
2/27 Niagara over Canisius
3/1/ IONA over Rider (biggest of them all) 3/1 St. Peter's over Quinnipiac 3/1 Canisius over Siena
3/3 Niagara over Siena 3/3 Manhattan over Quinnipiac 3/3 Marist over Rider
I believe the MAAC tourney starts 3/7!
