Obviously a huge game and the start of a 6 game stretch where Iona can really solidify themselves for at least a top 3 finish, which I believe is the goal and probably avoids Rider until the MAAC finals. @ Marist Siena Qpac Niagara @ Siena St Peter's
Expecting to win all 6 games is not realistic, but going 5-1 is very possible, with 4 home games. Important MAAC game tonight with Canisius playing at Niagara. A canisius loss tonight creates a 3-way tie for 2nd place at 5-3 between Iona, Canisius and Qpac.

Good post. 4-2 would be good toward that top 3 finish, 5-1 should solidify it.

4-2 should be expected. Would sign for 5-1, and 3-3 would be a disaster.

Not to be doom and gloom but... After this block of games above we have 4 games left (@qu, @man, CAN, @rid). I think it's safe to assume 2-2 in those games (as long as we don't score less than 50 pts we should beat Manhattan). :-) I think we have 1 loss in us over this upcoming 6 game stretch, which would put us at 12-6. This likely puts us on the 3 line but doesn't rule us out of being in the 4-5 game either. 12 wins in the MAAC usually floats between the 3 and 4 seed historically. So basically a long way of saying that if you're hoping to avoid seeing Rider until the finals I actually think we need to go 6-0 to LOCK that up.

4-2 should be expected. Would sign for 5-1, and 3-3 would be a disaster. There are NO expectations here. With a decent Quinny team coming in and 2 road games, 3-3 is a very logical outcome. 4-2 is a good goal, given where the team is at, but it should not be an expectation, we are just not that good.

That said, we could find ourselves in some crazy tie scenario, and the Rider win will carry weight. 11-7 may be enough.

Damn can we just go 1-0 in our next 1 games? It'll be interesting. No sure things on the road with this team.

Damn can we just go 1-0 in our next 1 games? Possibly I guarantee if we beat Marist we will go 1-0.

Niagara beats Canisius 78-70, which leads to a 3-way tie for 2nd place. Isaiah Reese was benched the last 32 minutes of the game. Iona really needs to get these next 2 wins (Marist/Siena), and will be in very good shape. Canisius plays Qpac Friday night.
