I thought we played hard and was impressed with our effort to take the lead. Those Gist 3s were awesome. That being said: - Risto should not be on the floor and in past years would never see the court. - Agee should not shoot 3s - Where was Perez tonight? - We got outcoached by a lot tonight Gist was 2-7 from three. But - those 2 3s were the most exciting parts of the game. Just sayin.

Still not on bench, maybe concussion, he was hacked in head by big guy and they called foul on still Varsity insider confirms Still being evaluated for a concussion. What hard luck this kid has had, could be out Sunday and maybe Friday as well. Got to love that he was called for a foul on the play. Cluess in postgame claiming Agee had a clean block at the end. I know this, in any major conference they don’t call that a foul.

What a disaster year, does look like 20 losses are in play. Team can’t shoot, they fooled me offensively for 5 games, but it really is up to McGill, this team can only win when he plays well offensively, that and gill hitting 3’s is why this team had a 90 pppg the first 5 maac games. How many close losses does this team have, seems like about 1-10 in games under 5 points? Game in and game out refs are terrible, but this is what one of the worst leagues in the country gets. Lastly why don’t we give 2 more fouls with under 6 seconds, bad coaching by Cluess there. Cluess was asked in a interview earlier in the season if McGill ranked up there with some of his great former players. Cluess said he wasn't, and unfortunately he was correct. This team just can't make the big play. Out of 6 MAAC losses, they have now lost 5 of them in the last 12 seconds needing to make just one play, and couldn't do it once.

Best thing tonight was the New Ro cops vs New Ro firemen at halftime.
Neither team deserved to win.
Another trainwreck.

Unbelievable. What a frustrating team. Just a bad season by both the players and the staff. Cluess has not had a great season and he has his hands full trying to turn over this roster and coaching staff.

McGill is proving Cluess and you right, but if he gets to 4 tourneys that is a unique and special accomplishment that in my mind would make him a special player in Iona history. And they can not win it this year without him having a very, very good tourney. In the past he has been fortunate that they have won 3 tourneys with him on the roster when in all 3 he did not play that well, however 2 he may have been hurt and one he was a freshmen. If they ever did make it this year it now looks like they would be a play in underdog and would have one of those pathetic ncaa records of like 14-19. A lot of non Iona fans would be quite annoyed, and quite frankly it may not be the best thing for the league.

Cluess lost 4 consecutive league games in his first season at Iona and it has never happened since. Let’s keep it that way. Rough season, historically bad. Has a good chance to go down as the second worst in school history, in terms of loses. Iona has only lost more than 20 games one time (2-28) in 2006. I think we will end up 10-21.

Not realistic to say Iona should have pulled out all 5 tough losses, but just winning 3 of them and it's a entirely different season.

Frustrating to say the least but when fundamental tasks like boxing out and rebounding are deficient, it's inevitable that we would lose so many of these winnable type games.

Not much to say. Terrible season. Hard to imagine this team winning 3 or 4 in Albany right now. Very difficult to get excited about these games at this point.

Zero argument from me. They deserve the record they have. Because I hate myself, I watched the replay of the last couple of minutes. Obviously the lack of defensive rebounding killed Iona, as well as Crawford missing a shot right at the rim. Iona had 2 fouls to give when QPAC put the ball in play with 6.5 seconds remaining. Terrible job by the staff/players not fouling Rigoni as soon as he started driving to the hoop. Would have had another foul to give, which would have left QPAC just a couple of seconds to get a shot attempt, and no chance of a offensive rebound to win the game. Can't lose the game like that with fouls to give. Still trying to figure out the last foul. The ESPN play-by-play said the last foul was on Perez, but now I see it was called on Agee. Perez did foul Rigoni on his shot attempt, but got away with it, only for QPAC to get another offensive rebound and win the game.Just a lost season.
