Our staff passed on Young from my understanding. Last year he destroyed us at HAC and I remember one of the coaches saying he has added motivation to beat us because we passed on him. I believe he was told he wasn’t good enough to play at Iona! :-)

Huge win! We won because they were exhausted, that’s why Vegas money went to us. 3 to go, not sure this team can do it but I know Cluess can. Dunleavy and their players are great at staying alive late in a game. We made some unbelievable mistakes Perez, Ristanovic, Agee’s free throws but we did enough.
If Nick is hurt it’s going to be incredibly tough to win 3 in a row both to finish the regular season and in the tourney but maybe McGill, Crawford and Agee can carry us.
Manhattan game is going to be very tough and Canisius on the road has been excellent and we will be underdogs at Rider, it will be something if we can do this.
Game next Friday may be a battle for first but espn and the maac didn’t choose the game, mistake!
My gut says Still is no longer on the team, we are going to have to get contributions from Maxwell and Hudson.
I believe Ristanovic is 1 for his last 24 from 3, that is not easy to do.
How their homer color commentator didn’t see the flagrant fouls is hard to believe. Don’t get why espn has homer announcers when most of the viewers are for the road team.
Hoping the hot McGill stays here for the next 6 (or maybe 8) games!

I remember the good old days when we would just give up late three point plays. Those were the days.

Great Win. Pulled out a tough one. Agee deserves credit.

Although we are behind Quinny now I think if we were to win all 3 and someone else also is tied with us at that point we win all possible tiebreakers, but I am not 100% sure.

Good road win by the Gaels tonight. I hope Nic is ok, he looked like he was in a lot of pain.
Just keep winning, Iona.
Go Gaels!!!

Still would not be going to an away game if he isn't cleared from the concussion.

To all the naysayers, Gaels no longer alive for a 20 loss season, but a 20 win season is still mathematically possible. :-)

With all their deficiencies, the low b’ball IQ, injuries and inconsistent individual performances, there is something I like about this team. Yes they can bring on cardiac moments but how they have come back in recent games has really impressed me. Congrats to Coach Cluess for getting them to this point, now let’s sustain the momentum 🏀🏀 Was at the game only time I’ve seen the team this year and I have to say I was impressed with how they competed. Played hard.

Also you asked about whether a team ever made the nit under .500, I’m not sure but if we made it we could be 16-16 and not under .500.
