Got home late. All I caught was the handshake line, and Coach Mas spinning about a missed play here and a missed play there. "Make those plays and it is a different game." So Nic is done for the season - was afraid of that. Looks like Risto had a nice night in his 16 minutes. Interested to read (sic) 70's analysis. he's the best thing since sliced bread st Louis what was the world like before sliced bread

jaspers would be the best opponent to play in maac tourny, the snail pace won't take much out of us

jaspers would be the best opponent to play in maac tourny, the snail pace won't take much out of us As for the tourney,Finishing 1st or 2nd is huge because we would play Friday then Sunday, not having 3 games in 3 days with our short rotation would be a big plus,Manhattan had 16 kids in uniform last night, can’t figure that one out!! As for Nic,very possible we see him in tourney,13 days away for him to recuperate enough to give us some minutes.

At least, that is one thing that gives you pleasure. Watched a replay of the game last night on Jasper's website. As for Risto, I wonder if he is just now realizing how athletic he is. It's fun watching him develop, and give credit to the coaches bringing him along. The kid is smart, plays nice D, and is starting to bring variety to his game. This kid is going to be a match-up problem down the road. In addition to his 6 credited rebounds, how many did Risto deflect to others when he was not able to snare them himself? As for your question, "st Louis what was the world like before sliced bread"? Literate!

So nice to see so many off the ledge. As I noted previously have PATIENCE. In Cluess I trust. Wonderful to see the hard work paying off and the confidence building for this roster. Cannot wait to see who steps up and is the X Factor in the Tournament. Great win. Expecting good things for Seniors on Sunday. GO GAELS!

Just watched the replay of the game. Many of us have criticized this Iona team for long stretches of play where they exhibited a low basketball IQ. What struck me about the team’s play against Manhattan was how well controlled their play was. They really demonstrated a high basketball IQ against Manhattan. Great job.
