So what happened to Still, he has disappeared, never seen at games, not in latest practice photos? Either he has a very serious concussion problem which I doubt, he has another major injury, he has quit team, he was kicked off team or he left the school. If he was smart he stayed in school and is trying to finish his degree so he can be a graduate transfer. Guess some of us will never know the story. Concussions for people in their teens and early 20’s can take a long time to clear up. But generally don’t do long term damage. Just the opposite for concussions suffered by full grown adults. My son suffered a very minor concussion almost two years ago. He was hit in the head shortly thereafter by a kid who was goofing around at training camp and kicked a ball right at him. Because he had a history of migraines when he was very young, he still gets mild headaches which he controls with medicine. Almost two years later. And if for some reason he wanted to play again, he still could not be cleared.

Who should we be rooting for tomorrow? My choice would be St. Peter's. Marist scares me a bit since they have some pretty decent shooters especially Funk who can get shoot the 3 as well as anybody in the MAAC. Not sure what team would be effected more by the short turn around.

Marist def has the better shooters though and Dunne is very comfortable vs Iona.

Keep in mind, last year, SPU knocked off the #1 seed in the quarterfinals.
Keep in mind, last year, Marist's HC knocked off the #1 seed in the quarterfinals.
So the choice is simple.

The Gaels beat them twice (handily) during the regular season but everything the Peacocks through up went in the basket that game. I remember a kid.. Wesley Jenkins and a lefty who went like 4-4 from 3 point land. To summarize... the tournament is a brand new season no matter where you are seeded. Dunne out coached Timmy that game.

Yes, SPU made shots, but that is a common theme in MAAC Tourney games we've lost. It's truly rare when we are shut down, and Dunne Dunned us that night. That said, that was a long time ago, Cluess was still relatively new to D1, and SPU had a good, strong team. I'll go on and say that it makes no difference to me who we play. If we defend, we'll win.

I'm rooting for SPU, but we should handle our business against either team if we show up to play our game.

St. Peters had us in that game right from the tip. I believe Wes was Jermel Jenkins cousin
